Below is an interview with Jeff Herold, Founder and President of Club Glove/Scheyden Precision Eyewear. An avid surfer, golfer, pilot and heli-skier, he started the company by designing head covers made from his neoprene surfing wetsuits. Club Glove's "Last Bag" travel bag is used by 90% of PGA Tour players. Originally from Buffalo, NY but moved to Southern California and won't leave. The following are a few traditional and non traditional golf centric questions that I love to ask influential people in the golf industry.

When did you start golfing and who introduced you do the game?
Started when I was 25 years old and was introduced to the game by friends.

What is your current home course?
SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach, CA.

To date, what is your proudest golf accomplishment?
Winning a father/son nine-hole tournament five years ago. It was alternate shot format and we shot even par. The best moment of the round came on the final hole when my son hit a hole-in-one.

What is your biggest golf pet peeve on or off the course?
Like most people, I would say slow play. But also if course conditions are poor when there is no excuse.

What is your favorite golf destination?
Monterrey Peninsula. It is such a unique destination and so beautiful.

What course is on your bucket list that you have not played yet?
Augusta National.

If you woke up tomorrow and could play one course you played before, where would you play?
Pebble Beach.

If you could change one aspect, rule or thing about golf, what would it be and why?
Would change the rules regarding playing the ball where it lies from the fairway. I believe that players should receive relief from a divot. It makes no sense to be penalized for a perfect shot. If the ball comes to rest on a sprinkler head, you get relief, but nothing when you pipe one down the middle. It's unfair.

Dream foursome (living)?
No dream foursome per say. Any round of golf played with great people is a dream.

Dream foursome (living or dead)?
Would have to go with some of America's great leaders and personalities: Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson. That would be an interesting round.

1) Hitting Long Drive OR Sinking Long Putt?
Long Drive. It feels better!

2) Having Round of Life OR Hole in One?
Hole-in-one is more memorable.

3) Golfing at the crack of dawn OR twilight?
Twilight, although I like both.

4) Hit a power fade OR power draw?
Power fade, more control. When I can get it to work it is tough to beat.

5) Beverage cart OR halfway house?
Halfway house.

6) Bathroom OR bushes?
If the bathroom is there I'm using it. If not, the bushes.

7) Hot dog OR wrap?
Wrap.

8) Around the green, being in sand OR thick rough?
Sand.

9) Walking OR riding?
Walking for sure.

10) Do you carry traditional 3 iron OR hybrid?
Hybrid.

11) Do you prefer long par 3 OR long par 5?
Par 5, you get to hit more shots.

12) Pants OR Shorts?
Depends on the weather.

13) Palmer OR Nicklaus?
Palmer, but that's a tough one.

14) Beatles OR Elvis?
Elvis.

15) Play for fun OR play for money?
Money.

16) Bump and run OR flop shot?
Depends on the variable involved. If the option is there I would bump and run.

17) Lay up OR gamble?
Gamble!

18) 18 holes OR 36?
18 is plenty for me.
